Digital art is fun because it allows me to combine my photography with my imagination. Combining different photos or elements into a new piece of art taps the creative juices.
One day, while shoveling snow, I unearthed a a doll with clumps of dirt clinging to it. Of course, I took a picture of it. Many years later I came across that photo and decided to do a composited digital art piece.
I imagined that the doll would be in nature, dancing in the trees. I found another photo, which I had taken at a campground at Canyon de Chelly, that fit my vision as the trees seemed to be dancing too.
